Professional Dog Trainer & Agility Instructor
Cassie Bond
Cassie Bond BA (Hons)
KPACTP ABTC Reg. Animal Trainer Cassie is a reward-based, fear-free professional Dog Trainer providing Behaviour Consults and Agility Classes in Plymouth. Qualifying 9 years ago, Cassie has helped thousands of families & pets live happy and healthy lives. Currently competing at Champ level in Agility, spends her weekends travelling the country competing with three dogs and week days giving classes at 45+ clients in Plymouth. |
I acquired my qualification with The Karen Pryor Academy. It is renowned worldwide for producing some of the best trainers in the industry. I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was an intense 9 months and the pass rate was high. I qualified feeling I was a competent dog trainer. Although I still wanted to add to my knowledge base. I needed Applied Behaviour foundations so I would be able to help owners with any undesirable behaviours they might encounter.
I completed a course with Behaviour Works (Susan G. Friedman, Ph.D). LLA Professional is designed to provide the foundation for a comprehensive and coherent understanding of behaviour analysis as it relates to facilitating the lives of captive and companion animals. I really enjoyed studying this topic and qualified knowing that I was armed with the most current knowledge I needed to be very effective in helping pet owners.
I am also on the ABTC Register of Animal Training Instructors. This standard is about planning and managing the training of animals. http://www.abtcouncil.org.uk
