Lifeskills Classes for Puppies And Adolescent Dogs
Small Classes to maximise learning
(Adult Beginners 27 wks+..no upper age limit) (Adolescents over 27 wks - 18 mths) (Puppies up to 26 wks)
All Classes are held in a private paddock in PL9 (address supplied on booking)
There will be max of 6 dogs per group
You will learn how use reinforcement instead of correction, luring, shaping, cueing and how to better observe dog behaviour

My course is designed so that you and your puppies learn both foundation skills and behaviours
A foundation skill is a skill that you and your puppy need to know in order to enable a lifetime of successful learning
There are ten foundation skills on my curriculum. 5 for puppy to learn, 5 for you to learn
A behaviour is a specific action that you eventually put on cue, such as sitting politely for a pat, walking nicely on lead, coming when called etc.
There are ten groups of behaviours in this course and each one has multiple levels of difficulty.
I've designed my course this way because an emphasis on foundation skills creates a sound basis for lifelong learning.
We all want our puppies to learn certain behaviours, but what's more important is that they learn how to learn.
When you and your puppy master the foundation skills, you can teach/learn new behaviours and handle most any situation you encounter with confidence.
I hope that by the end of the course I have taught you how to manage behaviours on your own, so you can go forward and foster lifelong trust, learning and communication with your puppy.

It is vital that we continue to train our puppies even if class times clash with your personal commitments
We can meet in public spaces and train our puppies with the distraction of the world around us
We can meet in a convenient public space at a convenient time and we can work on any specific you might have noticed or I can make suggestions that we can go through
We'll make a plan at the end of the session for you to work on, and some homework for the next session too.
What's included?
1 hour with a Professional Qualified Dog Trainer
We will have one-hour session in public and you can ask anything?
I will tailor the session to the needs of you and your puppy

Working outdoors does have its upsides. It is a great opportunity for your puppies to learn to work with you while in a distracting environment. It's a public space is a great place to start your training.
