Reward Based Force-Free Dog Training
'Helping owners to care for their dogs'
Thinking Dog was born when my love of dogs met reward-based training. I have a degree in PR & Marketing, so I'm a communicator who's spent a career using different tools and channels to send messages to people. My life's path hasn't changed that much, now I tailor messages and create training plans to help people lead better lives with their dogs.
I love all aspects of advising on care-taking our pets. Mind, body and soul.

Puppy classes are essential to help people understand how capable their pet is. We can help manage expectations and help create a happy, balanced dog. We have follow-on classes designed to strengthen your relationship. They will also illustrate how wonderful dogs can be when you make them think.
Life-skills classes will be a great help for any family wanting to own a dog. There's nothing quite like the eureka moments in class when either the dog or the owner has a moment of clarity. We all expect a well-behaved dog in our communities and I am happy to help you on your journey to get there.

Training is only one facet of pet ownership. I am passionate about our dogs' nutrition. We can do so much for the health and well-being of our dogs by being mindful about what we feed and how much we feed. There are a lot of options on the market today and I always tell people to buy the best food they can afford.
I urge people to look at the labels and consider the ingredients, if you can't pronounce it, don't eat it. A dogs diet can account for so many issues. When I am approached to help with undesirable dog behaviours, the solution generally involves changes to their diet. correct exercise and coupled with behaviour modification.
In my raw-store you won't find kibble, you will find species appropriate food. Feeding dogs ground up ingredients shaped into pellets, comprising of rendered meat, carbohydrates, vegetables and other materials is neither healthy or nutritious. Feeding a fresh species appropriate diet will feed both body and mind, and limit the amount of visits you make to the vet.

A raw, species appropriate diet, is the best defence we can give our pets to thrive and maximize their opportunity for a long and healthy life. As caretakers of these amazing animals who enhance our lives, it is our responsibility to look after them as best as possible.
