This course is designed for those who have already completed their initial 6-week training with us
This next six-weeks is a natural progression course. It will help build upon what you have already learned and help to cope with what you may face in the future.

EXERCISE 3 Muzzle Training
EXERCISE 4 Loose Lead Walking
EXERCISE 5 Proofing Wait
EXERCISE 6 Impulse Control
EXERCISE 7 Recall
EXERCISE 8 Canine Body Language
EXERCISE 9 Care & Responsibility
EXERCISE 10 Scent Work
Similarly, there are ten groups of behaviours in this course and each one has multiple levels of difficulty.
The course has been designed this way because an emphasis on continuing to improve your skills creates a sound basis for lifelong learning.
We all want our dogs to learn certain behaviours, but what's more important is that they learn how to learn.
When you and your dogs master the training skills, you can teach/learn new behaviours and handle most any situation you encounter with confidence.
We hope that by the end of the course we have taught you how to manage behaviours on your own, so you can go forward and foster lifelong trust, learning and communication with your dog.
Dogs need to have completed their puppy course in order to attend this six-week follow on course

Thinking Dog Follow-On Class for those who have completed Puppy Life Skills Training (1 hour)
6 Week Duration - family members are all welcome
Training is outside and we do train regardless of inclement weather.
This course is not suitable for reactive dogs or dogs with behaviour concerns. You can contact us if you fall into these categories for a behaviour consult.
