My course is designed so that you and your dogs learn both foundation skills and behaviours
A foundation skill is a skill that you and your puppy need to know in order to enable a lifetime of successful learning
There are ten foundation skills on my curriculum. 5 for dog to learn, 5 for you to learn
A behaviour is a specific action that you eventually put on cue, such as sitting politely for a pat, walking nicely on lead, coming when called etc.
There are ten groups of behaviours in this course and each one has multiple levels of difficulty.
I've designed my course this way because an emphasis on foundation skills creates a sound basis for lifelong learning.
We all want our dogs to learn certain behaviours, but what's more important is that they learn how to learn.
When you and your dogs master the foundation skills, you can teach/learn new behaviours and handle most any situation you encounter with confidence.
Around Week 3 and Week 5 we meet at a different venue (at the weekend). Its a private field where we practice our outdoor skills such as loose-lead walking and recall
I hope that by the end of the course I have taught you how to manage behaviours on your own, so you can go forward and foster lifelong trust, learning and communication with your dog.
Dogs aged between 10 weeks - 26 weeks old.

There is no class on Dec 8th (the hall is being used for a Carol Concert)
Dates for the Indoor Sessions are 1st Dec 15th Dec 22nd Dec 29th Dec 5th Jan 12th Jan - 2 outdoor sessions to be agreed upon in class but will run on Saturday mornings at a private paddock on Haye Rd (nr Gables/American Golf)
Puppy Life skills Training (1 hour)
8 Session program over 6 Weeks (2 sessions are field-trips and arranged with the group according to the weather during the winter months)
